Also, after the construction work in the Katra Banihal section is completed in December 2018, it is expected that the train’s route will be extended up to Srinagar. It will link the significant army setups of Kashmir with the headquarters in Udaipur under the Northern Command and the headquarters in Pune, which is under the Southern Command.
