State Bank of India abbreviated as SBI is the largest multinational public sector bank in India with financial services. It merged with Bharatiya Mahila Bank and its associated 5 banks (State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur and State Bank of Travancore). With this, it became one of the greatest banks in the world’s largest 50 banks.
For SBI Recruitment, a notification of SBI issued on 20th January. According to the notification, for its sales division and customer support, it recruits almost 9633 Junior Associates. The preliminary examination held on further confirmation in March/April month and main examination on 12th May. The Online Application registration has begun and the applicants are allowed to apply till 10th of February.
The notification says, “Applications are encouraged from eligible citizens of India for Junior Associate Appointment (sales & customer support) in administration cadre in SBI. Applicants are allowed to apply for the vacancies in the only state”. Since 2013, It is the largest recruitment of SBI.
From the Suggested Reports, for SBI Clerk Post there are 12000 vacancies. The official notification of this post will come in March. Last year August, due to Voluntary retirement scheme and retirements, the staff headcount came down by 7,000. With this, there was an estimation that there could be a reduction in SBI recruitments of 25-30 percent.
Last year, Dinesh Kumar Khara, SBI Managing Director said in a business news channel interview that “about 15,000-20,000 average recruitments every year and 19,000 people last year. Also 10,000 people retiring every year, so we will end up recruiting fewer people. The additional hiring depends on the growth.”
SBI Notification Key Points:
- Applicants under this recruitment can only appear once for the test.
- Applicants should be proficient in the local language of that applied particular state.
- As a part of the selection process, there will be a knowledge test of opted selected language.
- Applicants who fail and not qualify in the knowledge test will not be offered an appointment.
- The Applicants, produce mark sheet/certificate of 10th or 12th, studied the specified selected local language, no need to undergo the test.

Rs. 600 for General Category and
Rs.100 for Reserved Category.
Required Educational Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute/university.
Age Limit:
The Applicants age must be minimum 20 years and maximum of 28 years.
