PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) or the scheme for Housing for all is an aspiring scheme of housing initiated by PM Narendra Modi and aimed to provide housing for all by 2022. This Scheme was started by PM and implemented by all state governments across the country with the help of Authorities of Housing Development.
Indian Government is inviting and welcoming people to apply for this scheme through online. The Candidates who are eligible for this scheme can apply through online for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme by just filling the required personal and contact details along with their Aadhaar Number.

Process of Applying Online for PMAY:
- The applicants or the interested candidates must visit the official website, https://pmaymis.gov.in/ which is created by Housing Ministry and Urban Poverty Alleviation.
- The applicants should then click on the link of “Citizen Application” from the main menu in the official website and then select the required link for online application.
- Now the candidate will be redirected to an application form and then he/she should fill all the mandatory details required. The required details include head of the family, contact details, current residential address and permanent address, saving bank account details, employment, income details, etc.
- After entering all the necessary details, the applicants must click on the “Save” button which appears at the end of the application form.
