About Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme Telangana
The government of Telangana has brought Kalyanalakshmi Scheme into practice since 2014 in the state to serve financial assistance to SC and ST girl’s marriage. It is one of the Telangana State Schemes issued after the Formation of Telangana. The Telangana Government is providing the cheque for Rs. 51000 on girl marriages who are from SC, ST family and minority communities. For Minority Communities (Muslims) the scheme has issued with the name of Shadi Mubarak Scheme
Formerly, the amount under this Scheme was Rs. 50,000. But recently, it is increased to Rs. 75,000 from Rs. 50,000 by Telangana Government. According to the notification officially, the government has already provided the cheques to 14 families at Madgulapally under this scheme.
Recently, the Government of State has included and added brides from BC (backward class) and economically backward people under this scheme and offer benefits along with the brides of SC, ST and minority communities. 2: On the Home page, click on the banner of “Kalyana Lakshmi”.
3: On the Next page, select the “Click Here” link which is located in front of Register text or you can directly click on the link, https://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in/KalyanLakshmi.do
4: Fill all the mandatory details in the application form which is provided on the next page. The application looks as shown below.
5: Once you are done with filling all the details, click on “Submit” button located at the bottom of the form.

Highlights of Kalyana Laxmi Scheme
- The candidate or applicant must have a permanent residence in Telangana State.
- The age of the scheme beneficiary must be the min of 18 years.
- Annual household income of the applicant should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh in Urban areas.
- Annual household income of the applicant should be less than Rs. 1.5 Lakh in rural areas.
The Telangana State Government has already declared around 400 crores for Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Scheme. There is a need to create awareness about the scheme among the public to make the benefit reach all candidates who are eligible.
