The Railway Recruitment Control Board of India is an organization run by the government. The board was established in New Delhi’s Ministry of Railways in the year 1998, on 27th April. Eligibility criteria for Group D jobs in the Indian Railways:
The minimum age has to be 18 years, and the maximum age at which you can appear at these exams is 31 years. There are categories for which age relaxation is there. An OBC candidate can apply for several categories of Group D jobs till the age of 33. There is an excellent news for ST and SC candidates. Earlier, the age relaxation was up to 33 years, and now it has become 35 years.
RRB Syllabus Details
The subjects for the written test are Mathematics, General Science, Reasoning and General Intelligence and Current Affairs. After passing this round, there is a PET (Physical Efficiency Test) for male candidates only. Such tests include 1000 m run within 4 minutes and carrying 35 kg weight.
