Federal Bank History
The Bank was established in the year of 1931 April 7th at Pattamukkil Verattisseril Tharavad. The Pattamukkil brothers gathered and discussed to form a bank. Finally they started Federal Bank Limited and it was incorporated with the amount of Rs. 5000/-. They started the banking transactions which related to agriculture and industry.

The Federal Bank Ltd. launched the passbook services for first time in India by any bank on August 2013 and named it as a FedBook. The Fedbook is a mobile app where customer can view the banking details in the app.
In 2015, SBI card and Federal Bank introduced the Federal-SBI two co-branded credit card services and named it as Gold & Platinum.
