What is EPF?
The full form of EPF is Employees Provident Fund. The Ministry of Labour and Employment controls the activity of this fund. Provident fund is a beneficial scheme for the employees who are working in any organized sector in India. There is a specific EPF number for all the employees to access the account they have. In 2014, our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a standard account number. People know it as the universal account number. How to know the balance through UMANG App:
In today’s world, we all are busy and seeks for quick service. Now you can log on to the UAN portal and get all the information related to your online PF balance. Different apps are now available to find out the balance of your account in a short period. You can do the PF check through the Umang app. If you want to do this, you need to follow a few simple steps. The steps are as follows:
- First, you have to put your mobile number and Adhar number. Then you have to set up the MPIN.
- You have to give all your personal details in the form and select the EPFO app.
- Then you have to click on the option to download the passbook, and they will provide you an OTP.
After giving the OTP number, you can check the online PF balance of your EPF account.
