What is this UP SUDA
SUDA UP is a scheme launched under the Ministry of urban development and poverty alleviation program of this state. Uttar Pradesh is also one of the major states of India. But sadly it is also poverty stricken because of which scheme such as UP SUDA is undertaken in order to free the society from the shackles of poverty and unemployment. The government of Uttar Pradesh along with the central government is working hard for UPSUDA or Uttar Pradesh SUDA towards eradicating poverty from this great state.
Background on this Uttar Pradesh SUDA scheme
SUDAUP stands for State Urban Development Agency, Uttar Pradesh. It is nodal agency operating in Uttar Pradesh. And it has been registered under Agency Society Registration Act of November 20, 1990. It has been operating since. It also includes other UP schemes under itself such as the District Urban Development Agency or more commonly known as the DUDA. This scheme operates on the district level.
The main purpose of this scheme
As already mentioned SUDA aims in order to reduce the poverty in the districts of Uttar Pradesh. It aims at uplifting the standard of living of the urban poor. It does that by creating jobs for the people under the poverty line and by providing them shelter. This scheme includes other two major programs which are going to give you a better idea about this project: –
- National Urban Livelihood Mission
- Prime Minister’s housing scheme- housing mission for all.
