The South Central Railway (SCR) has launched a Railway New Mobile App in India for the Platform Tickets, Unreserved Tickets, and more railway services through the Paperless and Printed Ticketing system by using the UTS App. The Service has started from the midnight of 15 July 2018. The UTS Mobile App is the benefit for un-reserved Indian Railways passengers.
The UTS can be abbreviated as Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) on Mobile. UTS App work through the Center for Railway Information Systems, it is an organization works under the governance the of Ministry of Railways.
To book the tickets through the App, the tickets can book 15 meters away from the Station and within 5kms of the station.
It provides the 2 modes of taking the UTS mobile Tickets. Now, the App UTS is for Issue/ Renew Ticket, Paperless Journey Ticket, and Platform Ticket. Here, you can find the modes of the Ticketing system.
1. UTS Paperless Ticket
The passenger can book the ticket using the mobile app. After booking, the person gets a ticket in the mobile app itself. Travelers need not to take a print out of the ticket by choosing the Paperless option in the UTS App. The user can get a platform ticket, general ticket and more by using the app. The only thing is that passengers need GPS enabled mobile.
2. UTS Paper Ticket
A Passenger can book the ticket using the Mobile App. He/She gets a Booking ID and Train ticket details. Take a print out at the ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machine) by using the Booking ID.
How to Download UTS Mobile App
The UTS app is a free app service where you can download it online. The Android user can download it from the Google Play store and Windows user can get the app through the Window App Store. Download the App and book the railway tickets in an easier way.
