City Palace Udaipur is a palace located in the city of Udaipur in the Rajasthan State. Construction of Udaipur Palace took place over four centuries by many rulers of Mewar Dynasty. Maharana Udai Singh started its construction as he moved his capital from the former Chittorgarh to the newly created city, Udaipur, India. The City Palace was constructed simultaneously with the foundation of the Udaipur city. City Palace Museum Udaipur

A portion of the ‘Zenana Mahal and the city palace transformed into a museum in 1974, This museum is open for public access. Museum timings are from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Entry fees for Adults, Children (age 5-18yrs), group of students is Rs 250, Rs 100, Rs 100 respectively. Entry is free for children below 5 years of age.
