The APPSC started their services from April 1st, 1988 under the Articles 315 of the Constitution of India. Vide Notification OM 15/88 on March 29th, 1988. It works on all services like Civil Services Examination as well as Publish Notifications inviting Application forms for selection to many posts as per requirements of the appointing authorities, conducting written exams and Interview, preparing the ranked list based on the candidate’s performance and advising candidates for appointment based on the merit & observing the reservation rules when vacancies are reported.
