Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur established in the year 2015, September 4, Himachal state. It is the 19th IIM in the Indian Institute of Management.
The objective of this IIM is to make the students more demand on Management Professionals, seeking socio-economic skills and also to solve the Issues in the Industry.
Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur comes under the Department of Higher Education and the Ministry of Human Resource Management.
Programmes of IIM Sirmaur
Post Graduate Programme in Management
The duration of the PGP is 2 years, the courses of the program comprise the fundamental concepts of management. In the first year, the students must work on a project for 8-10 weeks.
In the second year, the students have to select the subjects from various areas like marketing, finance, and economics.
Library in IIM Sirmaur
Library in IIM sirmaur acts as a platform for both students, and the faculty in the consumption of knowledge. The library consists of 836 books, 22 periodical subscriptions and also has many databases.
The campus of IIM Sirmaur is presently temporarily located at the Himachal Institute of Technology, in the sirmaur later on it will be shifted to the permanent campus which is going to be set up at Dhaulakuan, Nahan town.
