Andhra Bank History
The Andhra Bank was founded in 1923 by Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. They started their business services on 28 November 1923 with a paid capital of Rs. 100,00 and an authorized capital of Rs. 1 million. The Bank was shifted to Hyderabad from Machilipatnam and they became Government-owned bank.
