Beechupally Hanuman Temple:
Beechupally Anjaneya Swamy Temple is the 16th Century Temple of Telangana state. Temple built by the Gadwal Kings & one of the most prominent temples situated in Telangana State. This ancient temple is located in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana State on NH 7.
The Beechupally Anjaneya Swamy Temple situated on the River banks of Krishna which is 200m far from the river area. “Gurram Gadda” and “Nizam Konda” are the two islands near to this temple. Among the two, “Gurram Gadda” is the largest island and also a village known for its fertile land. The smaller island, Nizam Konda is very near to the Anjaneya Swamy Temple.
Going back to the Indian Spiritual history, Sri Anjaneya Swamy (Lord Hanuman) considered as the eleventh avatar of Lord Shiva and Rama and the most worshipped god. Lord Hanuman praised to be the God of the Universe. It believed that Lord Anjaneya will solve the problems immediately for his people. Hanuman Chalisa mostly chanted by the people.

History of Beechupally Temple:
According to medieval history, the temple governed by Gadwal Kings. This temple built by Gadwal Kings with a huge Mantapam 200 years ago. Every year the family members of Gadwal still conduct chariot festival of the temple. It is said that the idol of Hanuman has been installed by the guru of Sri Krishna Devaraya, Sri Vyasa Raya who lived in between 1457 to 1539 AD.
In this temple, Lord Anjaneya Swamy faces east and the facing of the spacious mantapam is towards the south.

Special Importance of Beechupally Anjaneya Swamy Temple:
Most of the people visit this temple for taking holy bath in the river Krishna and for the darshan of Lord Anjaneya. Here, many devotees sleep in the temple surroundings when the members of the family are dead. The Valmiki Ramayana recital is a daily routine in the morning which happens in very few temples.
Generally, devotees visit this temple for one day but some of the devotees stay here for 21 days who perform Ardh Mandalam. Few stay here for 11 days to perform Pavu Mandalam. People who perform puja of “Graha Dosha”, stay here for more number of days.
