D. EI. Ed Online Course Offered by NIOS:
D.EI.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education course is an online course which can be pursued through the online portal called Swayam Portal. The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is serving the D. EI. Ed course online for free through Swayam Portal to all candidates those who are interested from anywhere in India.
Swayam is a scheme initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to offer free online courses in various streams from the academic level to PG (Post Graduate).
D. EI. Ed course has been added recently added to the Swayam Portal and the candidates those who are interested can pursue this course online by registering at Online Portal of Swayam that is https://swayam.gov.in/.
Diploma in Elementary Education is basically a training course for the untrained in-service teachers of elementary in the Nation. There are three different courses of D. EI.Ed available to pursue from Swayam Portal, which has been created by the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). The courses have started from October 3rd 2017 and the duration is 120 hours.

Candidates are required to register at Swayam Portal for learning the D. EI.Ed online course. Here are the steps for SWAYAM Registration at swayam.gov.in.
1: Go the official website of Swayam Portal at https://swayam.gov.in/.
2: Click on “REGISTER” which is located at the top right corner of the page.
3: A new page will be opened, click on the Sign-up link located below the login form.
4: Enter all the required details in the form and submit it by clicking “CREATE” at the bottom of the page.
5: You have finished the registration process on Swayam Portal and you can start learning by logging in.
