The Department of School Education and Literacy governed by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and it is the responsibility to develop in the Literacy and School Education in India. The Higher Education Department develops the basic infrastructure of Higher Education. Department of Elementary Education providing few programmes and services for the easy Educational service in India. The list is as follows:
e-Pathshala
e Pathshala developed for showcasing & disseminating the all e-resources in education. It initiated by the MHRD and National Council of Educational Research & Training which is launched in 2015. It providing educational resources to students, teachers, parents, educators, and researches. The all required info available in IOS, Windows, and Android OS. The user can find the e-Pathshala info in Urdu, Hindi, English languages.
Through ePathshala, the students, teachers, parents and other users can get the info in textbooks, videos, audios, periodicals, educational materials and more.
The Central Government also launched a program called ICT in Education for the Teachers and Students of the School Education.
School Report Card
It is a students portal where you can get the info on School Report Card, those who registered in the School Report Card portal with Aadhar Card. The website maintained by the NUEPA – (National University of Educational Planning and Administration).
Under the District Information System for Education (DISE) had covered over 1.45 million schools in the Elementary Education. You can get the School Report Card National Toll Free Number 1800 11 6200.

Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan
The MHRD set up the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan scheme to focus on connecting the school-based knowledge to outside the school & making the learning of Mathematics Science. Using the technology updates to children and encouraging them to reach the heights of academic research and excellence.
School GIS
The Department of School Education initiated a web-based School GIS application programme launched to see the school locations from all over India.
GIS can abbreviate as Graphical Location of Schools by many Schools of the Indian States has mapped in GIS website. It established by NIC (National Informatics Centre). The location of schools interlinked with School Report Cards which is based on U-DISE database, which is developed & hosted by National University of Educational Planning & Administration.
UDAAN
The UDAAN programme launched by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) under MHRD for the enrollment for girl education in India. To fulfill the aspirations of girls in Technical Education, the UDAAN program is more helpful. It also helps to minimize the gap between school and engineering entrance exam.
National Teacher Platform
The NTP India (National Teacher Platform) is a state of an art platform which builds to host the Open Educational Resources (OER), Teachers Educators in TELs (Teacher Education Institutes), tools for the school teachers, Student Teachers in TELs and more.

Samagra Shiksha
In the Union Budget of the 2018-19 year, the Ministry of Education proposed to treat the school education without segmentation from the Nursery to 12th Standard. The Samagra Shiksha scheme is a dominant programme for the elementary education extending from the Pre School to 12th Class. It includes 3 schemes of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Teacher Education (TE), and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).
Mid Day Meal
The MDM (Mid Day Meal) in schools has a long history in India. This programmes introduced in 1925 at Madras Municipal Corporation for disadvantaged children. In the year of 1980’s, the MidDay Meal programme started by their own resources of Gujar, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Pondicherry governments for Primary education children. Saakshar Bharat
The Saakshar Bharat is an Indian Government scheme initiated by former PM Manmohan Singh. The scheme aims to create a literate group by many of teaching-learning programmes for the neo-literate &? non-literate of the 15 years people. It is a centrally sponsored scheme. The main aim of this scheme is to focus on women literacy under the National Literacy Mission.
