The following are the Missions of Telangana State Forest College and Research Institute:

1. In order to bring out the quality professionals of forestry for conservation and sustainable management of forest department resources
2. For the propagation of the crops plantation in order to meet demands from the domestic and industrial needs to develop the appropriate methods
3. Extension training to the agricultural farmers
4. In order to develop the agroforestry styles which are best suitable for various agro-ecological conditions in the State of Telangana.
5. In order to reduce pressure on stands of nature, farming communities economic upliftment along with to improve the ecological situations apart from operations of conventional forestry
6. Also, In order to establish a world-class institution in the education of forestry
