How do I get an Ontario Fishing Licence?
To get you fishing license tag, you have an Outdoors Card, and you can get the tag at the same time as the latter. The duration of the fishing license may vary between 1 and 3 years. The one-day fishing license is the only one that does not require having an Outdoors Card.
You can get the Ontario fishing license online or in-person. To get it online, you must have the following information. First and last name, height, eye color, date of birth, mailing and residential address, postal code. Additionally, you must be able to print the documents the website will provide you.
You will have to fill out an application online, pay with VISA or MasterCard and print the temporary documents that will download. Once you finish, the plastic Outdoors Card with the fishing license tag will send to you by mail.
If you prefer to get it in person, you can go to a Service Ontario Centre or to a Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry issuer. In this case, you will get a temporary license and your plastic card will mail.
