The state of Uttarakhand built from the old State of Uttar Pradesh on September 11, 2000. On the date when this state created, it also settled in Nainital. Since that day, the High Court of Uttarakhand is a little bit old but operating place located in Mallital Nainital, India. This was formerly known as secretariat. Supreme Court edification is awesome and built-in 1900 A.D. It is also located in front of a beautiful park and also the Naina Peak, which is the highest peak in this geographic location. This makes it a lot more picturesque and important.

History of Uttarakhand High Court

When the court established, five rooms of the Court were built, but then more were added. Another lawyer’s chambers and big chief justice court block built in 2007. Hon’ble Mr. Justice KM Joseph assumed charge on July 31, 2014, as Chief Justice of the High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital.
