Hyderabad Horse Race Club:

Hyderabad Race Club is must visit place in Hyderabad Sightseeing. It was started in the year 1868 by NIzam Asaf Jah VI at Moula Ali. At that time, these races were famous as Deccan Races.

Subsequently, Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan, the VI Nizam wanted to have this race near his palace so then it was resituated in the year 1886 at Malakpet. According to the records, the race held here is ranked par with any other centre in the Nation. The complete event was held systematically by residential Englishmen and high competition exists. After Nizam VI, the racing was held under the assistance of Royal Calcutta Turf Club. The racing is mostly conducted in Monsoon here.

In the year 1956, the construction of South India Turf Club took place under the high inspiration of strong state of affairs of the sport and Nizam as a gesture sold to the current land of HYD Race Club at a very affordable rate.

Another winter track was added to the Hyderabad Race Course in the year 1976 on which the Winter Races of Hyderabad are held. The Hyderabad Race Course is the only Turf Authority in the complete Nation to own the entire property that premises a race course complex, professional quarters, the tracks, parking lot, stables etc.

Hyderabad Racing Club is offered by the Yeomen service to its members and leaves no space in the mission for failure of advancing this Royal Sport throughout India. By the year 1977, the Hyderabad Race Club turned into a Turf Authority body independently.

Currently, the event of racing takes place from July to March. During the year 1978, the first invitational race was conducted under their supervision and as per their rules. The Race Club is greatly active in supporting in the molding process of the Invitation Cup into the Indian Racing premier Classic.

Making it one among the most prominent races in India, Sponsorship was bought into picture by Hyderabad Racing Club. The membership application submitted should be addressed to the club secretary and must contain the particulars mentioned by the Board.

For joining the family of this club either as a stand member or member you should submit an application for that point in the prescribed form and it should be assisted or sanctioned by two members of the club who has voting right in the club. Hyderabad Race Course stands as the top race courses of India.
