Indian Railways is operated by Ministry of Railways. In the World, India is the fourth largest railway network by size. The central government launched the complaint system on Indian Railways by Short Messaging Service (SMS) and also through Web complaints or Internet based complaints along with suggestion / feedback system to improvise the Indian railway services.
These services are a 24 hr grievance redressal mechanism through SMS service. The Indian Railways already launched this in their 16 IR zones and Vivek Sahai (Member of Indian Railway Board) was launched the trail basis in Northern Railways (NR). He informed all the Indian Railway zone members to install the mechanism. All Railway zones has been installed the service with dedicated mobile numbers.

To lodge the complaint on Indian Railway services need to fill the registration form. The following link is helpful to file the complaints through the Web or internet based complaint.

1. Manual Complaint status check: To Track Web based complaints and suggestion by Railway Passengers give the Reference number of your complaint along with that give the complaint name and contact number and incident date of your journey and track the information what you need.
2. SMS Complaint status check: To Track SMS Based complaints and suggestion and complaints by Passengers you can track the details on entering your reference number along with your mobile number and incident date of your journey.
Criscm is the major part for the passengers complaints and their suggestions. It is the Indian Government’s Railways complaint management system. The passengers can create the account in the register form and can track the review of his complaint through track complaint web page.
