History of 10,000 Notes

The RBI issued the largest 10,000 rupees note for the first time in 1938 and again in 1954. But these big notes banned in 1946 and 1978.

The Central Government issues all those notes which asked to make gene notes by the Reserve Bank of India and then include notes of Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000. But in the RBA Act 1934, a new law has enacted that no note above 10,000 could issue.

The Reserve Bank of India was formally established in the year 1935 and it was given the right to issue all notes of the Government of India. For the first time, the RBI had issued a five-rupee note with a six-star King George Portrait.

In history, the RBI issued the biggest note of Rs. 10,000, Notes of Rs 1000. Rs 10,000 rupees used during 1938 and 1946 but later they banned.

When the country got freedom, then the rupee has counted as coming. At that time, 16 Anas had made as 1 rupee. One arrival has also counted as 4 paise and 12 paise. Now the rupee has counted as money and after making 100 paise, 1 rupee has made. The decline of Indian Rupee has done in 1947. In this, we started counting the Indian rupee in 100 ‘new money’. But in 1964 the term ‘new’ had stopped.

1 Rupee Note:

After getting the independence, notes of one rupee had issued for the first time.

But in 1954, the notes of Rs 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 had re-treated. But later in 1978, they have banned.

For the first time in 2010, coins of 75 rupees, 100 rupees, and 1000 rupees have made, but all the coins have made as commemorative coins. They made because that year was 75 years of the Reserve Bank of India, along with the 100 years of Rabindranath Tagore and the Brihvadhevar Temple had a total of 1000.
