Jharkhand State is one among the 29 states of India which is located in the Eastern Region and is bordered with Bihar which is located on the north, Uttar Pradesh which is located on the North West, Chattisgarh which is located on the west, Odisha which is located on the south and WB (West Bengal) which is located on the east. The capital city of JH is the Ranchi and Sub – Capital is Dumka
Jharkhand Population
The Population of JH state is about 32,988,134 which is the 14th largest state in Indian population and the JH Districts are covering with an area of 79,714 square kilometres (or) 30,778 square miles, which comes 16th on the area basis.
JH Language
The official and native language of JH state is “Hindi” (झारखंड) where approximately 57.56% of people speak in Hindi and other official language is Urdu (جھارکھنڈ) where 8.63% of people will speak in urdu. Santali (10.69%), Kurukh (3.20%), Mundari (3.19%), Ho (2.90%) and Odia (1.74%) are also widely spoken languages in the JH state.
Formation of JH State
JH state came into existence on 15th Nov of 2000 under the state reorganisation Act which. The High Court of Jharkhand is the apex judicial body in the state.
