A Raita Samparka Kendra performs the following tasks:
- They offer technical knowledge of crop production, crop selection, market information, etc.
- Provides seed as well as soil testing opportunities
- Increases the availability of bio-fertilizers, seeds, and chemicals that protect plants from insects and pests

The Agriculture Department of Karnataka aims to extend agricultural services to the peasants of the state. That is why they provide training to the farmers to improve their skills and knowledge. It will help them to increase the production of agricultural crops.
