Karnataka State is one among the 29 states of India which are located in the South Western Region and are bordered with the following Andhra Pradesh which is located on the east, Kerala which is located on the South, the Arabian Sea which is located on the West, Maharashtra which is located on the North, Telangana which is located on the North East and Tamil Nadu which is located on the South East. The capital city of KA State is Bangalore (Bengaluru).

The Population of Karnataka state is about 61,130,704 which is the 08th largest state in the Indian population and the Karnataka Districts are covering with an area of 191,791 square kilometers (or) 74,051 square miles, it is the most prominent state which comes 7th on the area basis.

Formation of Karnataka State

KA state came into existence on 1 November 1956 under the state reorganization Act. Later on, people started calling it the State of Mysore.
