Maharashtra State (महाराष्ट्र शासन)

Maharashtra State (महाराष्ट्र शासन) is a Western Indian State and is also the 02nd most populous state in India. It is also the 03rd largest state and Mumbai and Nagpur (Winter Capital) is the capital city. The official and also native language of MP State are Marathi. The population of Maharashtra is 112,372,972 which is the 02nd  largest in the population of India and 36 Districts of MP are covering with a geographical area of 307,713 square kilometers (or) 118,809 square miles. To the west side, it is bordered by the following states of the Arabian Sea along with the states of Telangana, Chattisgarh, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli Union Territory. Maharastra State is known as the “Land of Saints”

Formation of MP

MP State is formed on 01st May of 1960. The state animal is the Indian giant squirrel, the State bird is Yellow-footed green pigeon, the State flower is a Lagerstroemia speciosa, the State tree is Mango, the State Butterfly is Blue Mormon.
