Ministry of Health and Family Welfare – स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is a part of Union Government Ministries works under the government of India (भारत सरकार). This Ministry deals with the health policies. It has to organize different health-related programmes like family planning and health checkups in India. The head of this Ministry is now Sri Jagat Prakash Nadda.
The Ministry of health India has the responsibility to publish a magazine named Indian Pharmacopoeia through IPC. IPC is an organization which works individually and sets the standard for the healthcare devices, pharmaceuticals and also drugs.

Department of Health Research
The Mohfw India consists of two departments named The Department of Health and Family Welfare and Department of Health Research. Earlier the Department of Ayush was also under this Ministry. Later on, it transformed into a separate Ministry in the year 2014.
