Nagaland State – नागालैंड राज्य

Nagaland State is one among the 29 states of India which is located in the North Eastern Region and is bordered with Assam which is located on the west, Arunachal Pradesh which is located on the north, Myanmar which is located on the east and Manipur which is located on the east. The capital city is the “Kohima” and the largest city is “Dimapur”.

The Population of NL is about 1,980,602 which is the 25th largest state in Indian population and the Districts are covering with an area of 16,579 square kilometers (or) 6,401 square miles, which comes 26th on the area basis.

The official and native language of NL state is “English” which is widely spoken languages in the state.

Formation of NL State

The state came into existence on the year 01st Dec of 1963. The High Court of Nagaland is the apex judicial body in the state.
