Narendra Modi is India’s leading politician and current Prime Minister of India from May 2014. From 2001 to 2014, he was the  Chief Minister of Gujarat. Modi is a member of BJP (Bharathiya Janatha Party), also a Hindu Nationalist and a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In 2014 elections he won from Varanasi constituency and also a member of parliament member from Varanasi.

Narendra Modi Personal Life

Modi date of birth is on 17 September 1950 and born in Vadnagar belongs to Gujarati family his full name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. In childhood, he helped his father to sell tea and a few days later he started a new tea stall. At the Modi age of 8 years, he was joined in RSS and begins a long time relationship with the organization. After the completion of Narendra Modi education left Modi family for the reason of the arranged marriage which he rejected. As of now, Modi Age is 67 years old. Narendra Modi Political Career

In 1971, he became the full-time worker of the RSS after traveling so many religious centers. On his good services in 1981, he became general secretary of the Bharathiya Janatha Party in Gujarat Unit.

Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014, and he is the first Prime Minister of India born after Independence. Energetic, dedicated and determined, Narendra Modi represents the aspirations and hopes of more than one billion Indians.

Since assuming office in May 2014, Prime Minister Modi has gone on a journey of all-round and inclusive development where every Indian can fulfill his hopes and aspirations. They are highly motivated by ‘Antyodaya’, that is, the principle of reaching the last person.

Through innovative ideas and initiatives, the government has ensured that the pace of progress is high and every citizen gets the benefit of development. Now governance is free, its process has been simplified and transparency has come in.

New Schemes in India

For the first time, unprecedented change has come through Prime Minister Jan-Dhan Yojana under which it has been ensured that all citizens of the country are involved in the financial system. Keeping their focus on making the business easier, their call to ‘Make in India’ has led to unprecedented communication between the investors and the entrepreneurs and the spirit of entrepreneurship. Under the ‘Sharmev Jayate’ initiative, labor reforms and dignity of labor have empowered many workers engaged in small and medium industries and the skilled youth of the country got inspiration too.

For the first time, the Indian government has introduced three social security schemes for the people of India, as well as focusing on pension for the elderly and providing insurance cover to the poor. In July 2015, the PM Modi introduced Digital India Mission with the aim of creating Digital India so that with the help of technology, better changes in people’s lives can be made.

On October 2, 2014, on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Prime Minister introduced ‘Swach Bharat Mission – a mass movement for cleanliness across the country’. The prevalence of this campaign and its effect is historic.

Modi on Global Stage

In the various initiatives related to Narendra Modi’s foreign policy, the world’s largest democracy appears to be the impression of real potential and role on the global stage of India. He started his tenure in the presence of Heads of all SAARC countries. His speech in the United Nations General Assembly was praised worldwide. Narendra Modi became the first Prime Minister of India to become the first Prime Minister of Nepal after 17 years, Australia after 28 years, Fiji after 31 years, and Seychelles’s bilateral visit after 34 years. Since assuming office, Narendra Modi attended the United Nations, BRICS, SAARC, and G20 Summits, where India’s programs and ideas were highly appreciated on a variety of global, economic and political issues.

Modi Foreign Visits

His journey to Japan began a new era in India-Japan relations. He is the first Indian Prime Minister to travel to Mongolia and his visits to China and South Korea have been successful in bringing investment into India. During his visit to France and Germany, he was constantly connected with Europe. Shri Narendra Modi has given great importance to strong relations with the Arab countries. His visit to the United Arab Emirates in August 2015 was the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister in 34 years, during which he took initiatives to increase India’s economic partnership with the Gulf countries at a large scale. In July 2015 Shri Modi visited five Central Asian countries.

This journey has been special and special in itself. India and these countries have important agreements in areas like energy, trade, culture, and economy. In October 2015, the historic Indo-Africa Forum Conference was held in New Delhi, in which 54 African countries participated. Leaders of 41 African countries participated in this conference in which extensive discussions were made to strengthen India-Africa relations. The Prime Minister himself had a bilateral meeting with African leaders who had come to attend the conference.

Modi Success:

In November 2015, Prime Minister attended the COP-21 summit where he discussed climate change with other leaders of the world. Shri Modi and President of France Olympia inaugurated the International Solar Alliance to make proper use of solar energy to meet energy-related needs.

In April 2016,

Prime Minister attended the Nuclear Security Summit in which he gave a strong message about the importance of nuclear security on the world stage. He toured Saudi Arabia where he was awarded the highest civilian honor of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz Sash.

Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Sri Lankan President Mittal Sirisena, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel have visited India and these tours have visited India and these countries. There has been a success in improving the cooperation between the two countries. On Republic Day of 2015, President Barack Obama came to India as the chief guest, which is the first time in the history of Indo-US relations. In August 2015, India hosted the FIPIC Summit in which the top leaders of the Pacific Islands participated. During this, important aspects related to India’s relations with the Pacific Islands were discussed.

In 2001, Modi elected as a Chief Minister of Gujarat. His policies as CM, encouraging the economic growth and his administration is to significantly improve the health, education, and poverty in the state.

In September 2013, many BJP MP’s raised Narendra Modi name as a Prime Minister candidate. For the supporting of Party leaders he stands as a PM in 2014 general elections, Modi led the BJP and won majority seats in India. After elected as a PM Modi concentrated on the Indian economy to raise foreign direct investment. In the campaign, Modi mainly concentrated on corruption and his message to support young Indians and middle-class citizens.

The first cabinet decision of the Modi and his team to investigate black money holders. In November 2016, Central government demonetized 500/- and 1000/- bank notes. The decision is taken by Modi to save India from corruption and to see India as a corruption free country. At that time entire country faced problems to get the money from the banks and ATM’s. Modi took a decision to do the digital payments in India.
