About Pench National Park
Pench Wildlife Sanctuary: India’s 19th Tiger Reserve, where you will find very different experiences of wildlife sanctuaries. In the Pench National Park on the border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, Besides Tiger, many beautiful birds, Neel Cow, Sambar, Deer these animals also be seen in Pench Tiger Reserve or Pench Park.
Located in the southern part of Satpura hill, Pench National Park Maharashtra, and Tiger Reserve is India’s one of the special Wildlife Park and also famous National Parks in India. In the southern part of Madhya Pradesh, it connected to Maharashtra border. This is the reason why the reserve is busy throughout the year with tourists. The National Park is spread in an area of 758 square km was found in 1983 by the Maharashtra government. This is now India’s 19th Tiger Reserve Park.
These are special in the park
About 1200 species of trees will find here. Due to a thick forest, this park is also suitable for chital, hyena, squirrel, pig, blue cow, porcupine, jackal, black deer, fox, fennel and other wild animals. In addition to animals, there are many variations of birds like Indian Fathers, Waterborne, Pied Malabars, Pigeons, Storks, and Fisheries etc. The following 164 bird types, 33 of mammals, 50 of the fish, 30 of the creeping organisms and about 10 species of amphibians will find in the park.
Safari in Pench National Park
In summer
Enjoy the safari from 6.30 am to 9.30 am and from 4 pm to 6.30 pm.
In the winter
Safari ranges from 7 a.m. to 10.30am and from 3 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
How to reach?
Airway – Nagpur’s Sonangaon Airport is 93 km away from Pench National Park. Almost all major cities have the facility of flights to Nagpur.
Railway route – The seoni railway station is the nearest railway station, which is just 30 km from Pench National Park.
Roads – Buses and jeeps service is available for Pench National Park From the seoni bus stand. Seoni is well connected with both the states Madhya Pradesh & Maharashtra.
