Punjab and Haryana High Court

The Punjab and Haryana High Court is located in the capital city of Chandigarh, and its jurisdiction includes the States of Punjab, Haryana and, of course, the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The structure of the building of this High Court is extremely famous.

He was born on May 4, 1956, and after completing all his basic studies at St. Xavier’s College in Bombay, he completed a law degree at Hinduja Law College. He began practising as a lawyer at the Bombay High Court in 1980, where he worked in the Civil, Constitutional, Company and Arbitration matters.

After leading cases in several courts of the country. He appointed Additional Judge of Bombay High Court in 2001, and two years later he appointed permanent Judge of the same. In 2014 he  transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court to start working as Acting Chief Justice, and  in 2016 when he is officially named Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
