RERA Karnataka stands for “ Real Estate Regulatory Authority Karnataka ” (ರಿಯಲ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ವ್ರಾದಿಶಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ) is a RERA act of Parliament of India. The Karnataka RERA has implemented by the Karnataka Nodal Department of Housing Department. From the month May 01st of 2017 the rules of Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority has come into existence. On July 10th of 2017, the Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority has been notified.

The following are the Duties and Functions of Real Estate Regulatory Authority Karnataka:

  • In order to approve the plans and specifications of projects like Bhoomi Karnataka as approved by the authorities of competent
  • In order to rectify the defects of structures within 02 years of possession
  • Taking responsibilities regarding the accuracy of the prospectus or advertisement
  • In order to disclose all information which is relevant to the project
  • In order to refund the money if there is a default
