It is the major center for learning the Sanskrit Course in Kerala State. The organization affiliated with the Madras University in 1934, Kerala University in 1958, as well as Calicut University in 1968. Under the MHRD Governance got a traditional status from the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. The Institution declared as Deemed University on 7 May 2002. The RSKS Guruvayoor Campus has 2 centers those are Puranattukara and Pavaratty. The Puranattukara is the major center located on the attractive landscape which extended in 14 acres. Campus comprised with an Administrative block, Main Academic block, Guest House, Play Ground, Library, Auditorium, Staff Quarters, Boys & Girls Hostels, and also a Semi-functional building.
On the other hand, the Pavaratty center situated on a land which has 50 cents. It is a single building along with an administrative office, 10 classrooms as well as 2 big halls. The campus renamed has PT Kuriakkose Smriti Bhawan.
