The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan is a Deemed University controlled by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) of Government of India. RKSA has accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. The Sanskrit language formed on 15 October 1970 as an autonomous institute filed under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 for the Development & promotion of the Sanskrit in India. It fully funded by the Indian Government.

On the Sanskrit Day of 28 August 1996, the new Sansthan new building inaugurated with more facilities. The facilities like the Computer center, Sales Counter, Library, Committee Room, Modern Conference Room, Canteen, and as well as many more. All these facilities are supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India.
