RWSS Telangana stands for “ Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Telangana ” is the department of Telangana State. In rural areas, Telangana RWSS provides the facilities of sanitation and drinking water under the sector of Rural Water Supply (RWS). Villages are the backbone of India so therefore the GOI (Government of India) has the following ministry in order to guide and pass the GO’s (Government Order) to the State Government. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDWS) will administer the RWS&S Telangana Department.

  • In order to ensure of providing the adequate and safe supply of drinking water to all partially covered, quality Affected habitations, uncovered areas in the rural areas.
  • In order to ensure providing the adequate and safe supply of drinking water to all Anganwadi centres and schools

PHMED Telangana

PHMED Telangana stands for “Public Health and Municipal Engineering Department. Similarly, RWS & S Telangana the PHMED Telangana State is providing the safe drinking water supply to all the ULB’s (Urban Local Bodies). Recently the State Government of Telangana has launched Mission Bhagiratha Project on 06th Aug of 2016 in order to provide the safe drinking water in all districts of Telangana State
