1. Kandla Port – Gujarat

2. Nhava Sheva – Maharashtra
The Alternative name for the Nhava Sheva port is Jawaharlal Nehru Port situated at Mainland of Konkan, Maharashtra. This is India’s largest container port. Nhava Sheva port is king port for the Arabian Sea. It handles the large volume of domestic cargo traffic and International container traffic. Jawaharlal Nehru port’s major exports are the carpets, textiles, boneless and imports are the vegetable oils, chemicals, and machinery items.

5. Panambur Port – Karnataka
Karnataka state is a place to have a Seaport Panambur Port very near to Surathkal railway station. The port exports important commodities such as coffee, cashew, granite & manganese which also imports LPG, cargo containers, timber logs, and petroleum products. The Paradip port is located in Jagatsinghpur district of the Orissa. It is an important port on the east coast shore and located in the junction of Bay-of-Bengal and Mahanadi river. The port Paradip has its railway service, cold handline, and national highway which connects the National Highways of India.
12. Haldia Port – West Bengal
The Haldia port can also know as Calcutta port which is an important seaport in India located in West Bengal. Haldia port imports bulk cargoes of oils and petrochemicals. Kolkata port is base for the Indian Coast Guard.
