The central government is taking steps to launch a scheme “ Start-up India Scheme ” to maximise the engagement of females in entrepreneurship. The government of India is emphasising on the programmes to provide opportunities to the women entrepreneurs. For this, the government pays more attention in making Startup India Plans for the imminent women entrepreneurs. The government has initiated making tie up with other developed countries like the US. They are installing foreign technologies within the country and getting financial support in the form of funds that amounts to Rs 100 crore as an initial support as well Government of India announced new Scheme Digital India Internship Scheme throughout India.

These government schemes will help and push women community to raise their level on the grounds of technology so that they could look themselves as future entrepreneurs. The strategies to uplift these schemes being in the process as synchronised campaigns run by the government. The launch of NITI Aayog has in evolution that encourages women in labour to participate. The State Bank of Mysore organised this scheme for women to set up food catering business that offers packed food and snacks. The funds issued under this program used by them to buy kitchen utensils and tools.

A sum of Rs. 50,000 funded that can pay back in 36 months in the form of EMIs after getting the loan. They don’t have to pay the monthly instalment in the first month.

This scheme is helpful for the women who are already 50% partner in the existing business they seek the loan for. The funds are granted by SBI branches and provide a discount in the rate of interest by 0.50 % if the loan amount is Rs 2 lakh.

The interest rates reduced to 0.25 %. The highest amount of the loan raise up to Rs 20 lakhs for categories like education, retail, housing and it Rs 50,000 micro credit.

This scheme has launched by Punjab National Bank. This offers soft loans with a repayment period of 10 years to the women looking for business in small-scale industries. The maximum amount is Rs 10 lakhs for this scheme.

Mudra Yojana Scheme for Women

  • Shishu: The limit of loan is Rs 50,000 and is for the companies at the initial stage in their business.
  • Kishor: People having a well-established business can avail this loan whose amount lies between Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakhs.
  • Tarun: This scheme is availed by people with recognised business and needs assistance for further growth. The amount that can avail is Rs 10 lakhs.

A mudra card can given to the loan recipient at the time of providing the loan.

This scheme is for the women entrepreneurs with 51% share in a joint business. The amount given under this scheme between Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 25 lakhs. This can repaid within seven years of availing the loan.
