Telangana 2BHK Housing Scheme is also known as “Double Bedroom Housing Scheme” has launched the Telangana State Government on 20th September of 2015 for the poor peoples, it provides in 01st stage 2.72 lakhs by Mar of 2019 and 03 lakhs by 2014 houses in areas of rural and urban to the poor people’s with the investment of Rs. 36,000 cores and the main of introducing this scheme to make Hyderabad City as “Slum – Free City”.

History of Double Bedroom Housing Scheme

In May of 2014, the TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) has announced this 2BHK Housing Scheme in Election Manifesto. 5.72 lakhs of houses will construct for the poor people all over the Telangana State. On Mar of 2016, the test project was started at Erravalli for double bedroom houses and the villages adopted by the Telangana Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao are located in Mandal of Jagadevpur located in the district of Medak.

The 2BHK Housing Scheme of Telangana

The project of 2BHK Housing Scheme started all over the Districts of Telangana State, the applicants can apply online at nearest Mee Seva Centers. The slum areas have identified in the Hyderabad, the slum peoples will leave the places for the construction of the houses. In some areas, the land places of Government-Owned can identify the double bedroom houses will construct. After the construction of houses, the slum peoples can stay there. The registration can do in beneficiary’s name by the Telangana Government

Tunnel Form Technology for Double Bedroom Housing Scheme

For the 01st time, the construction of 6,240 Double Bedroom Houses at Rampally and 15,660 Double Bedroom Houses at Kollur of GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) are using advanced Tunnel Form Technology for fast execution of the Double Bedroom Housing Scheme project. In rural areas, 200 square yards and 560 square foot house with 02 bedrooms, hall, kitchen and 02 bathrooms will construct. Status of 2BHK Housing Scheme in Telangana

As on Mar 2018, about 9500 houses has constructed. 1, 69,000 houses in under completion in targeted 2.72 lakhs houses at a capital investment of 18,000 cores.
