About Telangana Mines and Geology Department
Telangana Mines and Geology Department is the department of Telangana State which has started in the year 1921 with the name “HGS”. HGS stands for “Hyderabad Geological Survey” which carries out the Exploration, Prospecting and investigating the deposits of Minerals. In all over South India the Telangana is the one and only Indian State which is producing the huge amount of Coal. The Singareni Collieries Company Limited is the Company of State Government is mining the Black Gold

About TS Mines and Geology Department Taskforce
The TS Mines and Geology Department has implemented “State Level Taskforce” based on the Government of India guidelines from the Ministry of Mines
It is implemented under the Telangana Departments including Telangana Industries Department, Chairmanship of the Secretary
Same like State Level Taskforce the District Level Taskforce of all Telangana Districts implemented under the District Collector Chairmanship in order to review regularly, in order to monitor and in order to regulate activities of the minerals in the Telangana State
