About Telangana State Biodiversity Board
Telangana State Biodiversity Board is coming under MoEFCC (Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climatic Change). Telangana Biodiversity Board is an autonomous and also statutory body that formed by the Telangana State Government under the act of central Biological Diversity Act, 2002. Biodiversity Park Hyderabad
- Biodiversity Park, Hyderabad had established during CBD (Convention on Biological Diversity) that held in the year 2012.
- The TSIIC (Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation) has inside this park with a layout of more than 20 crores
- The Forest Department of TS will take care of the Endemic Species of Telangana

- In order to identify the heritage sites of biodiversity for notification
- In order to create TS Biodiversity information system to the Telangana Districts People
- To identify and conserve the following endemic landraces, flora and fauna, distinct and breeds
IBD of Biodiversity Board of TS
IBD stands for “International Day for Biological Diversity” has announced by the Secretariat of CBD (Biodiversity for Sustainable Development) in the year 22nd May of 2015. The main goal of this International Day for Biological Diversity is in order to provide an opportunity for the public to communicate and get awareness on the biodiversity value for human welfare all across the world.
