The Cotton Textiles Fund Committeeapparel export promotion council

Cotton Textiles Fund Committee has several achievements since the time of its establishment. It has assisted various Textile Research associations such as SITRA, NITRA, ATIRA, and BTRA. The committee has also helped in the creation of the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council. It introduced a scheme to inspire Cotton Textiles, particularly to export. The Ministry of Textiles replaced the Cotton Textiles Fund after the Textiles Committee Act of 1963. The Textiles Committee took its place after that. The Textile Commissioner is the head of the Textiles Committee.

National Handloom and Handicrafts Museumtextile minister

The Government of India (Bharat Sarkar) has set up the National Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum in New Delhi, and it is under the Ministry of Textile. The Museum grabs a land of 5 hectares. It’s a village complex having 15 structures that represent village dwellings, shrines, and courtyards from multiple states. The collection of the museum consists of 20,000 unique pieces that reflect the native tradition of the craftsmen of India.

Apparel Export Promotion Council export promotion council

Created in 1978, APEC or Apparel Export Promotion Council is India’s official body of the apparel exporters that assists the exporters in India and also international buyers who buy garments from our country. In the past few years, APEC has done a commendable job in integrating the textile industry of India.
