The Government of Tamil Nadu introduced a brand new online system for digital ration card in order to take the online system to the further digital level Government of Tamil Nadu is setting up this Smart Ration Card Scheme for Tamil Nadu Public distribution System(TNPDS).

If any of the following procedures are registered under their mobile number public distribution plan, they are already registered users

The shopkeeper registered their card through the sales terminal
You have registered with the public mobile application
You have registered through this website
If you do not have a family card and do not register your mobile number 1967 / 1800-425-5901 contact the helpline and register the mobile number

Registered users will get the benefits below:

Can see their family card details and see the details of their family members
See the address of their family members
You can view registered grievances and record new grievances. You can view registered comments and post new comments
Can view the details of their licensed sales transaction details to be able to send a request for their family card details through online

How to Correct Smart Ration Card of TNPDS Online?

The following is the Correction of Smart Ration Card of Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Online:

1: Firstly visit Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Official Web Portal https://www.tnpds.gov.in

2: Now click on “Citizen Login” which is, located on the top left side of the home page

3: Then it will be redirected to Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Login Portal, you can also login directly here: https://www.tnpds.gov.in/login.xhtml

4: Now on the top right under ‘Registered User” enter your Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Registered contact number and Captcha Code which appears on the above then click on “Register It”

Note – After you enter your Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Registered contact number click on “Submit” then redirected to Captcha Code field and after validating the code you immediately receive OTP (One Time Password)

5: Now enter the OTP (One Time Password) and log in

6: Subsequently click on “Smart Card Details” which is located on the top left side in order to modify your name and address

7: If any of your details are wrong in Smart Ration Card then click “Edit” option in order to modify it

8: If required upload the copy of scanned documents

9: After all the modifications are completed click on submit and approval option

10: After the Smart Ration Card Corrections submission, you will get a reference number in order to track the entire details of the application of smart ration card

Check Smart Ration Card Status of TNPDS Online

Through Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Web Portal, the old ration cards easily converted into brand new smart ration cards.  Latest notifications, modifications, support system of Tamil Nadu Smart Ration Cards will be available in Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Official Website.

How to Check Smart Ration Card Status of TNPDS Online?

Through Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System you can check your Smart Ration Card Status (or) modifications in Smart Ration Card Status online. The following are the steps to Check Smart Ration Card Status of Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Online:

1:  Firstly visit Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Official Web Portal https://www.tnpds.gov.in

2: Now click on “Status of Electronic Card Application” which is located on the top right side of the homepage

3: Then enter your “Reference Number” which you have got while registering in TNPDS Web Portal (or) Correcting of Smart Ration Card online and click on “Submit”

4: Now your Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System Smart Ration Card Application Status will appear on the screen
