About Board of Intermediate Education in the State of Telangana

BIE Telangana stands for the Board of Intermediate Education in the state of Telangana. The Board of Intermediate Education Telangana was established in the year 2014. Its headquarters are situated in the capital of Telangana which is Hyderabad. The Intermediate Education System in Telangana is supervised and regulated by BIE. Various activities are governed and executed by the Board like deciding courses for students, prescribing syllabus for multiple courses, giving affiliations to eligible colleges, organising examinations and providing support to academic institutions that appear under the jurisdiction of the Board.

Objectives and aims of The Board of Intermediate Education-BIE Telangana

  • Making intermediate education available for students from various sections of the society
  • To give special care to the tribal, rural and socially backward children of Telangana
  • Monitoring as well as supervising all the junior colleges in the state of Telangana
  • Taking initiatives to improve the number of admission of girl students in schools
  • To use Education as the primary tool for the economic and social emancipation of citizens and the state
  • Regulating the workings of colleges that are private
  • Development of infrastructure for facilitating the education of children who are neglected for economic insufficiency of parents living in rural as well as urban areas
  • Shifting the focus from academic skills to marketing skills through the introduction of specialized and professional courses such as Graphics, Computer Science, Tourism, etc.
  • Providing quality education in distant villages of the state and thus, empowering them to dream bigger instead of sending the children to work at a young age
  • Providing professional training to teachers
  • Introducing several courses for updating the lecturers’ knowledge skills
  • To re-structure and revamp the Vocational Curriculum at regular intervals for catering to the altering requirements of society
  • Promotion of vocational education by encouraging a large number of students to divert from regular courses and opt for vocational courses with the aim of making them self-reliant for gaining employment.

Steps for checking the 1st and 2nd year results of TS Inter

On the day of declaration of TS Inter 1st year or Inter 2nd year results by the board, the results are published by them on their official website. Any candidate can check his result from there. To check the 1st and 2nd-year Inter results of Bie Telangana, visit the official website that they have introduced: http://bie.telangana.gov.in. 

  • In the board’s official website, you will get the relevant link for downloading Telangana inter results of both 1st year and 2nd You have to click on the appropriate link.
  • You will be taken to a fresh page where you will be asked to input your birth date and your roll number provided by the Board of Intermediate Telangana. After entering these two details correctly, choose the ‘Submit’ option.
  • After submitting the information, you will get to see your result on the screen.
  • You can also take your result’s print out for use in future.
